Do you recognise this man?

Police investigating a serious assault that occurred in Duke Street in Glasgow on Saturday 23 January 2016 have released CCTV images of a man that officers believe can assist with their enquiries.

Around 1755 hours, two men were involved in a small disturbance outside the G101 store and the Alexandra Bar, near to the junction with Millerston Street, which resulted in a 17 year old man being injured.

The man suffered a serious neck injury and was initially taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injury.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in the footage and anyone who recognises him is asked to come forward.

The male is described as white, aged between 16 and 20 years of age with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark blue fleece with grey sleeves, black trousers and dark coloured trainers.
