Drugs worth more than £100,000 found in Ibrox police raid

Two men, aged 22 and 23 years, have been arrested and charged in connection

Drugs with an estimated street value of £117,000 have been recovered by officers following a police operation in Ibrox, Glasgow, on Wednesday, 28 July.

Around 4.45 pm, officers searched a house in Harley Street, Ibrox, Glasgow, and seized the controlled drugs, believed to be herbal cannabis and Ecstasy, along with a five-figure sum of cash.

Two men, aged 22 and 23 years, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 29 July, 2021. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Inspector Craig McPhail, Greater Glasgow Police, said:

“This recovery highlights our continued commitment in Glasgow to disrupting drug activity and supply within our communities.
