Drugs worth £360,000 discovered during Govanhill raid
Hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of drugs have been seized in Glasgow following an intelligence-led operation. A property in Westmoreland Street, Govanhill, was raided on Friday at 1.35pm where officers discovered what’s believed to be cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £360,000.
Two men, aged 26, have been arrested and are presently detained in police custody in connection with the seizure.
A report will now be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. It is anticipated that both men will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday 4 September.
