Two arrested after drugs worth £1.4M seized in Ardrossan police raid
A haul of heroin, cocaine and amphetamine was recovered from a house on Nithsdale Road on Thursday night
Drugs worth £1.4million have been seized and two people have been arrested and charged, following a police raid in Ardrossan.
Officers, acting under warrant, entered a house in Nithsdale Road at around 8.45pm on Thursday, where they discovered a stash of Class A and Class B drugs, including heroin, cocaine and amphetamine.
Altogether the drugs have a potential street value of more than £1.4million.
A 52-year-old man and a woman, aged 49, have been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.
They’re both due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, 13 December.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
