Police have seized cannabis plants worth an estimated £315,000 from a property in Paisley.

Officers searched the Well Street premises at around 5.20pm on Wednesday.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Detective Inspector Stevie Elliot said: "This substantial recovery emphasises our commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply within our communities.

"Drugs cause real devastation to communities and families and Police Scotland will continue to target anyone involved in drugs and the criminality that surrounds it."
