Drug arrest after Ayrshire teenagers fall ill
The group of 13 year-olds apparently took MDMA on Saturday night.
A teenager has been arrested after six 13-year-old's were left in hospital following a suspected drug incident.
The group were taken to Crosshouse Hospital after falling unwell in Irvine around 6.25pm on Saturday 24th February.
They were kept in overnight for observations with police issuing a warning over a batch of ecstasy the teenagers were thought to have taken.
A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged over alleged drugs offences.
A report is to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal and he is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday
