Dozens of projects set to receive share of £4M Big Lottery Fund cash

The money comes as part of a five-year, £250 million scheme designed to support people and communities to overcome challenging circumstances.
In Edinburgh, Sleep Scotland is to receive £349,566 to set up a dedicated support system for parents and carer children with sleeping difficulties.
Home-Start, a group in the north of Glasgow, is to receive £440,000 to deliver practical and emotional support to families in the Glasgow North area regarded as living in challenging circumstances.
It has also been announced that £150,000 will be awarded to Starcatchers, a group based in Fife who will use the funding to offer a programme of creative activities for young parents, with children aged under two-years-old, living in and around the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh and in Lochgelly, Fife.
Maureen McGinn, Big Lottery Fund Scotland chairwoman, said: Today we are awarding over £3.9 million to 26 inspiring organisations providing great support to people across Scotland facing challenging circumstances.
These projects will reach people at a time when they need it the most, giving them the confidence, advice and skills to look towards a more positive future.''
