Detectives investigate attack and robbery on two men in Glasgow
One man had to be taken to hospital.
Detectives are looking into an attack and robbery on two men in Glasgow last night.
The two victims were walking along Maryhill Road between the junctions with Northpark Street and Garscube Road, when they were approached by another two men and assaulted and robbed.
One of the men, aged 34, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later discharged. The other man, aged 20 was unhurt.
The suspects made off on foot on Northpark Street, Glasgow.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer of CID said: “This appears to have been a shockingly unprovoked and random attack.
“We are keen to trace two men; one is described as slim, wearing grey shorts, a black hooded jumper, and dark trainers.
"The second man is described as having dark hair, of medium build, and wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt, and white trainers.
"We're asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to please come forward. We would also like to hear from any motorists with dash-cam footage; you may have captured something that could assist our investigation.”
