Detectives appeal as they probe mystery deaths of women
police call for information about the last known movements of sisters-in-law found dead in Glasgow flat
Detectives probing the mysterious deaths of two women in a flat in Glasgow are appealing for information to piece together their last known movements.
Sisters-in-law 46 year old Sharon Dodd and 51 year old Mary Archibald were found dead in Dalserf Court on Sunday lunchtime.
Officers initially believed the pair may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning but no gas faults have been found in the house.
Detective Inspector Ogilvie Ross of Greater Glasgow Division says:
"As part of the ongoing investigation we are trying to establish their last known movements and I would ask anyone who knew Sharon or May, who spoke to them, or saw them on Saturday 23rd April or early on Sunday 24th April who have not yet came forward to police to contact us at London Road Police Office through the non-emergency number 101."
Post mortem examinations will take place in due course to establish the cause of death, however at this time the deaths are being treated as unexplained although there is not thought to be any suspicious circumstances
