Demonstrators march through Glasgow for Stand Up To Racism rally
Hundreds of people gathered at Kelvin Way before marching to George Square on Saturday
Hundreds of people gathered in Glasgow today to take part in a march against racism.
The Stand Up to Racism demo in the city centre was part of a day of international protests to mark UN Anti-Racism Day.
Activists gathered in Kelvin Way in the West End at 11am before marching through the streets for a rally in George Square at 12.30pm.

The demonstration took place against all forms of racism, Islamaphobia and antisemitism, in opposition to racist scapegoating of refugees, migrants and Roma, Muslim and Jewish communities, and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Speeches were given by Scottish Health Secretary Humza Yousaf, Aamer Anwar, general secretary of the Scottish Trade Union Congress Roz Foyer.

During the march, there were chants of "no borders, no nations, no deportations" and "say it loud, say it clear - refugees are welcome here" from the crowd.
People of all ages gathered for the rally in Glasgow and held signs which included the statements "black lives matter", "migrants make our NHS" and "all refugees welcome".
