Death of man in south side of Glasgow treated as murder
Omer Sadiq was found seriously injured by officers who were flagged down on Boydstone Road, near Silverburn Shopping Centre on Tuesday.
The death of a man in Glasgow is being treated as murder.
Omer Sadiq was found seriously injured by officers who were flagged down on Boydstone Road around 1.25pm on Tuesday.
The 32 year old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.
Enquiries have been ongoing and following the results of a post mortem, Police Scotland can confirm the death is now officially being treated as murder.
Detective Inspector Brian Gribbons, based at Govan CID, said: "We are following a positive line of enquiry however we would still appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact us.
"We believe this was a targeted attack and there was no wider risk to the public."
