Cyclist left needing hospital treatment after being hit by car in Glasgow
It happened on Albion Street around 10pm yesterday
A cyclist's been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in a popular part of Glasgow city centre.
The incident happened shortly after 10pm in the Merchant City.

Emergency crews took the person from the scene on Albion Street for medical attention.
The extent of their injuries are not yet known.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of a collision involving a car and a cyclist on Albion Road in Glasgow shortly after 10.10pm on Thursday, 31 August.
"The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment."
