One person treated after Glasgow flat fire

One person was taken to hospital by ambulance crews after a tenement flat fire on the south side of Glasgow. Fire crews were called to a block on Cathkinview Road around 930pm on Monday.
Four appliances attended the incident while one person was treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service following the fire.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.29pm on Monday, August 30 to reports of a fire at a property on Cathkinview Road, Glasgow.
“Operations control mobilised four appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a second floor flat within a four-storey tenement building.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
