Judges refuse Craig McClelland killer appeal

The man who killed Paisley dad Craig McClelland's been told he'll have to continue to service his life sentence.
James Wright stabbed Craig to death in the street near his home in Foxbar in July 2017 but argued he didn't get a fair trials because his defence lawyer made mistakes in his closing speech to jurors.
Judges at the Court of Appeal spent a week considering the evidence before announcing, today, that his appeal was being refused.
Craig's father, Micheal McClelland. told Clyde News the process had made him lose all faith in Scotland's justice system.
"It's very similar to the feeling we had at the High Court. It's been a long hard week. We're all hoping for the best obviously but you just don't know in these circumstances.
He's entitled to an appeal but it makes it even harder."
At the time of the murder, Wright had broken his curfew for another crime and was "unlawfully at large".
