A 4-year old boy from Lenzie in East Dunbartonshire is walking 144 streets to raise money for our charity Cash For Kids during the lockdown period.

Ross Dunn and his mum Sara Dunn started the challenge at the end of April after Ross complained he was bored of their current walks.

They've so far completed 79 streets out of 144 and aim to finish the walking challenge by 18th May.

Ross has managed to raise ÂŁ655 for the Cash for Kids Appeal campaign, which will help families across the country who will struggle through the coronavirus pandemic.

Ross' mum Sara said: "We are doing our daily walks in a little area near here that we call 'the jungle' but Ross ended up saying he was started to get a bit bored.

"An elderly neighbour of mine walked all the streets in the town when she was in her eighties after she'd broken her hip to raise money for charity - the idea just came back into our heads again.

"We were listening to the radio one day and there was an advert or a news report talking about more families struggling financially because of everything that's going on with the virus at the moment and it just kind of hit home a wee bit because we've got friends that can't work at the moment as well so we thought it would be a good thing to try and help out where we could."
