Cops probe attemped murder in Glasgow's East End
Man found injured in the early hours in the Bridgeton area
DETECTIVES are investigating an attempted murder after a man was found injured in the East End of Glasgow.
Police have shut down Dalmarnock Road in the Bridgeton area of the city as they probe the incident
Emergency services were first called to the scene at 2.55am this morning. The 31-year-old man is receiving treatment at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 2.55am on Sunday, 6 September, police were called to a report of a man injured on Dalmarnock Road, near to Megan Street, Bridgeton.
“The 31-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for his injuries.
“Detectives are currently carrying out enquiries in the area and the incident is being treated as attempted murder.
