Skypark, Glasgow today has released Skypark's ‘Recipes for Success' , a new cook book full of recipes donated by Skypark tenants, celebrities, Clyde DJs and chefs from Scotland's leading restaurants – and with an £8K target, ALL proceeds from its sales will be going directly to Cash for Kids.

39 recipes in total have been donated by contributors including actress Elaine C Smith, Red Onion's John Quigley, George Bowie, Clyde Presenter and TV chef Nick Nairn, as well as those from Scotland's biggest business campus, who are a dab hand in the kitchen. Contributors have donated their idea of a 'recipe for success', which could mean anything from a successful start to the day to a successful way of making sure kids eat an off-putting ingredient!

All proceeds from 'Skypark's Recipes for Success' will be donated to Cash for Kids, Scotland's longest running broadcast children’s charity who have been supporting children who face unimaginable challenges in their day to day lives for over 30 years.

Lord Jack MacConnell, the Patron of Cash for Kids said: “Thank you for buying this recipe book from Skypark. Your contribution will ensure that we are able to make a difference to vulnerable children living in your local community. The money raised will go directly to helping the thousands of children in Scotland who suffer from child poverty, neglect and other issues.”

Creator of ‘Recipes for Success’, Angela Higgins, a joint venture partner in Skypark explained: “It’s uplifting that so many of our tenant and celebrity contributors are keen to do their bit to help children living in unimaginable circumstances. As many as one in five local children go without basic essentials such as food, heat, a bed or warm clothing. We're aiming to raise £8,000 for Cash for Kids in sales and by choosing it as Christmas gift, a £10 spend will really help to make a difference.”

John Quigley owner of Red Onion and one of the contributors to ‘Recipes for Success’ added, “I am delighted to be contributing to such a great cause as there is no better way to help raise awareness than with something that connects and unifies one and all… good grub! So if you want to make a difference get involved, and get cooking!”

Skypark's ‘Recipes for Success' will be on sale from in December for £10 and can be purchased at the Skypark reception or online via www.skypark-glasgow.com. All proceeds from sales will go to Cash for Kids.
