Concern grows for man reported missing from Fenwick
He was last seen on Saturday afternoon.
There is an appeal from family and police to help trace a man reported missing from Fenwick.
Jackson Mason, 31, was last seen at the slip road on the M77 near the Fenwick Hotel between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 19th December 2020.
Nobody has seen or heard from him since and concern is growing for his safety and welfare.
Allan Parris, Jackson's uncle, told Clyde 1, "Jackson has done this before but he has been away for a couple of days, never this long. It's not like him. His mum and sisters always know where he is if he goes away. This has been too long now.
"We've been up looking around the Fenwick Hotel. Just off the slip road at the M77 was the last sighting of him. We've been searching the fields in that area. I also have friends coming with drones to try help find him.
"If anybody knows Jackson, he is a good boy. We just want him home for Christmas. It's not going to be much of a Christmas for his mum and two sisters. They are out every night looking for him. If anybody can help us, it would be appreciated."
Jackson is described as being 6ft tall, medium built, brown hair and a beard.
At the time he went missing he is believed to have been wearing grey shorts and a shiny black bubble jacket and white training shoes.
Inspector Sheryl Syme of Kilmarnock Police Station said: “Along with his family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Jackson’s welfare and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him.
"We would urge anyone who may have Jackson to contact us. Similarly, if Jackson is reading this, please let us know you are safe and well.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0662 of Sunday, 20 December 2020."
