Growing concern over boy, 14, missing from Coatbridge

He was last seen on Croy Road around 8am on Thursday morning

Police have issued an appeal to help trace a 14-year-old boy reported missing from the Coatbridge area.

Dean Paterson was last seen leaving his home address on Croy Road in the town around 8am on Thursday, March 31.

He is described as around 6ft, of slim build, with long black hair with a red fringe. When last seen he was wearing black joggers, a hoodie and converse trainers.

Enquiries suggest he may have travelled to the Hamilton area.

Sergeant Mark Chivers said: “Dean has been previously missing, however, his family are becoming increasingly concerned due to the length of time he has now been away.

"We are asking anyone who has seen Dean or may know where he is to get in touch so we know he is safe and well.”
