Coatbridge YouTuber opens up about visit to Israel and Palestine
Callum Mills visits war-torn countries and posts videos on social media.
A Coatbridge man who visits war-torn countries and documents his trips on social media says people on both sides of the Israel-Palestinian conflict just want peace.
Callum Mills spent time in places like Tel-Aviv and Ramallah last year and filmed himself walking down the streets while talking to locals.
He told Clyde 1: "People were so friendly and they would ask me to come into their homes for tea and a snack.
"I even went for a haircut in Ramallah and the barber was so happy to see someone visiting from Scotland and not just going to Tel-Aviv."
He calls himself Callum Abroad on social media and claims he wants to challenge stereotypical views about people caught up in conflicts.

He added: "It is really hard for so many people out there because things are expensive and a lot of supplies do not get in.
"They said that they love their country and they hoped peace would come one day.
"It is so sad that there are walls dividing people in this day and age - I find it tough watching this all play out on TV."
