Clydebank man charged with importing a class A drug

A Clydebank man has been charged with the alleged importation and supply of class A drugs following a joint operation involving the National Crime Agency and Police Scotland.

A Clydebank man has been charged with the alleged importation and supply of class A drugs following a joint operation involving the National Crime Agency and Police Scotland.

The 41-year-old was arrested when officers raided a property on Drumry Road in the West Dunbartonshire town on Thursday October 12, the National Crime Agency said.

The raid came after Border Force officers seized cocaine at Coventry International Parcel Hub on Monday October 9.

The 41-year-old man remains in custody and is expected to appear before Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday October 16
