Clydebank FC to make sensory packs available to autistic fans

Published 14th Nov 2019

Clydebank FC have announced they'll be giving fans with autism or sensory difficulties packs aimed at making the match day experience more inclusive.

Noise-cancelling headphones and fidget spinners are included in the 'sensory packs' which will be made available at the clubs home games.

Stuart Kelly, a director at the club, says:

"We recognise that going to football games can be a daunting environment because of the noise, the crowds and the smells - effectively everything to do with your senses."

"So this sensory pack is a minor adjustment but we hope it can make a big difference to people who might otherwise feel unable to get involved in football games."
