Man in hospital and one arrested after Clydebank car wash incident

A man is in hospital with serious injuries and another has been arrested following an incident at a car wash in Clydebank, which has left a building unsafe.
Police were called to Dumbarton Road just before 1pm and a 36 year-old was taken to the QUEH after a car hit a building within the car wash.
A 50 year-old has been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.45pm on Thursday, 22 July, police were called to a report of a disturbance at a car wash premises on Dumbarton Road, Clydebank.
“Emergency services attended and found a 36-year-old man seriously injured, after being struck by a car. He has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“The car collided with the car wash, as a result the building is currently unsafe, and has been evacuated.
“A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing.”
