Man charged in connection with assault on 13-year-old boy in Clydebank
The incident happened on Saturday afternoon
A man has been charged in connection with an assault on a 13-year-old boy in Clydebank on Saturday, 28 January.
Around 2pm, the male youth was walking on Great Western Road, near to the World of Golf, when a man approached him and assaulted him.
The youngster sustained a facial injury and made his own way to hospital.
Inspector Alan Gilbert said: "Thanks to the help of the public, a 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
"He is due to appear in Dumbarton Sheriff Court in due course."
