Engineers are working to fix a weir gate on the Clyde after it jammed open, potentially leaving the bank's unstable.

The device keeps water flowing through the river during tidal shifts but the level has fallen dramatically during low tide - and the banks which are usually supported by the water may collapse.

The walkway at Adelphi Street has been completely closed.

Engineers are working to move a crane into place which they hope will help move the gate into a position where it can close.
