'Chemical liquid' thrown at man in targeted incident

A man is being treated in hospital after he had a 'chemical liquid' thrown at him.

The targeted attack happened in Prince Street in Port Glasgow around 2.10pm on Friday.

He suffered injuries to his face and was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital for treatment.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident, officers in the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde area confirmed via Twitter.
