Celtic's Nir Bitton to stand trial following charges of dangerous driving
Celtic player Nir Bitton will stand trial in November charged with dangerous driving.
28-year old Bitton allegedly used excessive speeds on Glasgow’s M80 in April last year.
The midfielder, of Glasgow’s Kelvinbridge, also faces a charge of driving without insurance on the same date.
He was driving a black Audi SQ7 during the alleged offences.
Bitton was due to go on trial earlier this year but this was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bitton is currently on International duty with Israel as they are set to take on Scotland at Hampden on Friday night.
He has made two appearances for the Hoops this season.
