CCTV image released as investigation into Dumbarton assault continues

Police Scotland have released a CCTV image of a man who they wish to speak to following a serious assault in Dumbarton last year.

A 40-year-old man suffered terrible injuries after being attacked on Main Street in Renton on February 13, 2021.

The man they now wish to get in contact with is described as being around 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall, of a slim to medium build and in his late teens or early 20s.

Detective Constable Colin Nichol said:

"A 40-year-old man suffered serious injuries and as part of our investigation we are keen to identify the man in the CCTV image.

"We would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with police immediately.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact CID at Clydebank via 101, quoting incident number 4120 of February 13 2021.

"Alternatively calls can be made to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
