A CCTV image has been released after a serious assault at the Bellmill Hotel in Bellshill.
It happened around 7.50pm on Sunday 29 December 2019.
A 24 year old man was seriously injured and needed hospital treatment.
Officers believe that the man shown in the released image may have information that could assist them and would appeal to anyone who recognises him to contact them.
The man is described as being white, of a medium build and around 40-years-old.
At the time of the assault he was wearing a brown jacket with a dark shirt.
