The employers of a Kilmarnock man who has been missing for nearly two weeks are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to his safe return.

Alan Galbraith, a transport coordinator at Allied Vehicles in Glasgow, was reported missing by his family on Sunday 5 February 2017.

After spending Saturday evening with his wife and friends at a friend's house, the 58 year-old was last seen around 2am in a field close to the old abattoir on Dundonald Road just a few hundred metres from his home.

Specialist officers and units have been involved in searching for Alan but nearly two weeks have passed and there is still no news.

Alan is described as white, around 6ft tall, stocky build and is bald with grey hair at the back and sides. When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue 'Northface' fleece, blue trousers and tan-coloured boots.

Owners of Allied Vehicles, Gerry and Michael Facenna said: “We’ve pledged this reward in the hope that it will motivate someone to come forward and help us find our friend and colleague.

The reward expires on 16 May 2017 and will only qualify if information that safely finds Alan is passed to Kilmarnock police station via 101.
