Police launch probe after car set on fire in West Dunbartonshire

A car has been torched in a targeted attack on West Dunbartonshire.

The car was deliberately set on fire on Burn Street, Alexandria, at the junction with the A813 at around 6am this morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses as they launch a probe into the attack.

Detective Constable Calum Hall said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for information.

“If you saw anything suspicious in the area or have private CCTV or dash-cam that could help with our investigation then please get in touch.”
