Car set on fire in Maryhill

An investigation's underway after a parked car was set on fire in Maryhill.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene on Murano Place at around 10.50pm on Wednesday 28th April.
Nobody was injured, but substantial damage was caused to the black Subaru Impreza car.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
Detective Constable James Kydd of Maryhill CID said: "We are appealing for information from members of the public relating to this deliberate fire.
"Thankfully no one was injured as a result of this reckless act, but I would like to stress how dangerous wilful fire-raising is and discourage anyone from setting a fire deliberately and know that officers will always investigate any reports robustly and thoroughly.
"If you saw anything suspicious and have not yet already contacted police I would urge you to do so as soon as possible.
"Similarly, if you were driving in the area around the time and were recording via a dashcam device please check your system for any relevant footage."
