Vehicle fire closes Clyde Tunnel
Scottish Fire and Rescue dispatched four appliances to deal with the car blaze on Monday night

Emergency services have extinguished a car fire in the Clyde Tunnel and the tunnel has reopened. Crews were called to the scene in the northbound carriage shortly after 7pm on Monday 6 September 2021 and traffic was being diverted from the route.
The blaze was quickly extinguished andthe route was closed while emergency services ventilated the tunnel, it reopened just before 9pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the scene at 19:09 to reports of a vehicle on fire in the northbound carriage.
"4 appliances were dispatched and 2 remain at the scene."
Police are diverting traffic away from the route.
