Two women in hospital and one charged after crash closes section of M8
A car was left overturned after the collision near J6A Chapelhall just before 8am on Wednesday.
Two women have been taken to hospital after a crash on the M8, which left a car overturned.
A 29-year-old woman's been charged in connection with the two-vehicle collision that happened near J6A Chapelhall just before 8am on Wednesday morning.
The road was closed for around 40 minutes to allow the vehicles to be recovered
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
“We received a report of a crash involving two cars on the M8 at junction 6 westbound, around 7.50am on Wednesday, 30 August, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and two women have been taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 29-year-old woman has been charged in connection and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
“The road was closed for around 40 minutes to allow the vehicles to be recovered.”
