Officers in Glasgow have seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of around £1.4 million pounds in one of the biggest farms in the West of Scotland. On Monday 4th February 2019 officers were called to Cheapside Street after being alerted by a member of the public.
Officers searched a building and discovered over 2300 cannabis plants.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish how the cultivation site came to be there.
Detective Inspector Davy Hill, Greater Glasgow Pro-active Unit, said: “We reacted to a call regarding this property and as a result discovered a large scale cannabis cultivation site, one of the biggest in the west of Scotland.
