Officers are investigating the attempted abduction of a 6 year old in Cambuslang.
The girl's mother's posted online saying her daughter was kicking and screaming after being approached by a man on Beaton Walk just before 7 o'clock last night.
Extra officers are on patrol in the area and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
