Scott Brown has been nominated for the FIFA fair play award for his show of support for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara.

The then Celtic Captain Brown approached the Gers midfielder during the warm-up of the Old Firm game in March.

It followed Kamara being racially abused by Slavia Prague player Ondrej Kudela - for which the Czech international was banned for 10 games.

Brown, who now Captains Aberdeen, is listed alongside legendary manager Claudio Ranieri - after his Sampdoria team gave Inter Milan a guard of honour last season.

Both might struggle to beat out Denmark and their medical staff to the award though.

They've been nominated for their response to teammate Christian Eriksen suffering a cardiac arrest during a Euro 2020 game with Finland in June.

The winner of the award will be decided by "a panel of experts representing both FIFA and external football stakeholders".
