World record for Falkirk veteran Fiona Matheson at British Masters
Falkirk Victoria Harriers veteran Fiona Matheson has set a world best time in the 3000m, after cruising to victory in the W60 category at the British Masters in Sheffield.
Fiona, 60, crossed the line in 11:01:55, taking nearly seven seconds off the previous record.
The V60 division includes athletes aged between 60 and 65.
Fiona also recently also landed a World Best in her age group for 5k on the roads.
