Dollan Aqua Centre in East Kilbride badly vandalised during break-in

Officers were called to a report of a break-in at the Dollan Aqua Centre in Brouster Hill, East Kilbride around 12.50am on Saturday morning.

3 boys have broken into a leisure centre in East Kilbride and caused extensive damage.

Officers were called to a report of a break-in at the Dollan Aqua Centre in Brouster Hill, East Kilbride around 12.50am on Saturday morning.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were also called due to the extensive damage caused by these youths.

Detective Sergeant Martin McKendrick at Cambuslang Police Office said: “Officers are at the scene carrying out enquiries into this incident, and forensic work will be taking place.

Our enquiries are still at an early stage and we are gathering CCTV footage from in and around the area at to find out more information on the three men responsible for this incident.

“The three male youths were wearing dark coloured clothing and at this stage, I would like to appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in and around this area early this morning, or who has any information on who is responsible to contact Cambuslang Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 0182 of 20th July. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
