Boy rushed to hospital after Clydebank dog attack

The 4-year-old was seriously injured on Saturday.

A 4-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by a dog in Clydebank on Saturday.

Officers were called to the incident in the Craigielea Road area of Duntocher on Saturday evening.

His injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On the evening of Saturday, April 2, officers received a report of a 4-year-old boy sustaining serious, but not life-threatening injuries, following an incident with a dog in the Craigielea Road area of Duntocher, Clydebank.

"We can confirm enquiries are ongoing.”
