12-year-old boy arrested and charged in connection with Kilmarnock fire
The blaze started in a four-storey building on Sandbed Street earlier this week
A 12-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire in Kilmarnock earlier this week.
Around 30 firefighters were on the scene of the blaze, which broke out at 9.30pm on Monday at a four-storey building on Sandbed Street.
He has been released ahead of an appearance at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court later this month.
The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
