Bomb hoax evacuates primary school in Paisley

Hundreds of primary school children in Paisley had to be evacuated this morning following a bomb hoax.
The pupils were taken out of class at Ralston Primary School after staff received a call saying there was a suspicious package on site.
Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that police were called to an incident believed to be a malicious call at a school in Paisley around 10.50am this morning.
"A search is currently being carried out in conjunction with the local authority.
"Enquiries are continuing to trace whoever is responsible."
The children have since returned to their classrooms.
