Bomb disposal teams called to Greenock recycling plant

Bomb disposal teams were called to Greenock this morning after a device, described as an old grenade, was found among the rubbish.

It happened around 11am at the council's recycling centre in Upper Cartsburn Street and explosive experts are now examining the object.

A number of people have been evacuated from Ingleston Park and the area has been cordoned off as a precaution
