Body of a man found in River Clyde

The body of a man has been found in the River Clyde near Pointhouse Place in Glasgow. The discovery was made earlier this afternoon.

Police say formal identification is still to take place but the family of 39-year-old Joseph Duffy, who was reported missing from Glasgow on 11 April, have been informed.

There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
