Body Found By Police Believed To Be Missing Man George McCarrick
Police believe a body found yesterday is that of missing Pollok man, George McCarrick.
The body was recovered from the Brock Burn in the Darnley area pf Glasgow at just after 10am on Monday.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
Formal identification is yet to take place however relatives have been informed.
Mr McCarrick was last scene in Darnley by family members on 11th August.
Police are treating the death as unexplained at this time and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
