Body found in Glasgow in search for missing Dumfries man

A body has been found in the search for man missing from the Dumfries area.
The discovery was made in a premises on West Nile Street in Glasgow yesterday.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of Stephen Riddick, have been informed.
A police spokesperson said:
"Around 12pm on Friday, 20 January, 2023, the body of a man was discovered in a premises on West Nile Street, Glasgow."
"Formal identification has yet to take place, however the family of Stephen Riddick, who was reported missing from the Dumfries area, have been informed."
"Enquiries are ongoing but there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
