Body found in search for missing Cumbernauld mum

A body has been found in the search for missing Cumbernauld mum Lynn Tyeson.
A member of the public called police after spotting a body in the River Nith just south of Kingholm Quay in Dumfries around 1 o'clock this afternoon.
The 48 year old mum went missing after a night out with friends in Dumfries and was last seen walking across the Devorgilla Bridge around 3am on Sunday.
Dumfries and Galloway Police and Lanarkshire Police made a number of appeals for information and had asked those living near the river to check garden sheds for any sign of her.
Police officers, the Coastguard and Nith Inshore Rescue volunteers have recovered the body, which has still to be identified.
