Police are investigating after a body was found in the Blackhill area of the city.
Officers were called to Molendinar Park around 10.40am on Saturday after the body of a man was discovered.
Emergency services remain on the scene to find out what happened.
Police have named them as 55-year-old Thomas Houston, who had been reported missing from the Milton area of Glasgow.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Meanwhile, motorists are facing disruption on the M80 as its reported the incident has led to a lane closure at junction 2.
Traffic in the area has been described as "heavy".
