Body Find Prompts Murder Inquiry

Police have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body. Garry Watson, 27, was found dead inside a property in Kennishead Avenue in Glasgow at around 1.10pm on Thursday. Police have appealed for information about the murder. Detective Inspector Davie Moran said: "We believe Garry died at some point between the early hours of Wednesday morning and when he was discovered on Thursday afternoon. "I would urge anyone who has been in the surrounding area over the past few days to cast their mind back and think about whether they saw anyone acting suspiciously. "No matter how insignificant you think your information might be - if you saw anything we want to hear from you. "It is also possible that the person we are looking for has confided in someone. If you know who is responsible or if someone you know is acting suspiciously and you suspect they may be responsible, then please get in touch as it is only a matter of time before they are caught.''
