Appeal for information after three injured in Bishopbriggs assault
Emergency services were called to a major disturbance in the town on Saturday night
There's an appeal for information following a major disturbance in Bishopbriggs on Saturday night in which three people were assaulted.
The incident happened on Villafield Drive, near Kirkintilloch Road, at around 7.35pm.
An 18-year-old man is in hospital after being attacked, with officers describing his condition as serious but stable.
Two further victims aged 17 and 18 were also attacked and sustained minor injuries.
Detective Constable Vikki Reid said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of this attack and we are appealing to anyone who may have been in this area at the time and may have witnessed this incident.
“Anyone who was walking or driving in the area around the time of the incident is asked to get in touch. In addition, we are also keen to speak to anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage at the time.”
